Genesis 1:11-12 Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so.

Genesis 1:22 and God blessed them, saying, “Be fertile, multiply, and fill the water of the seas; and let the birds multiply on the earth.”

Genesis 1:25 God made all kinds of wild animals, all kinds of cattle, and all kinds of creeping things on the earth.  God saw how good it was.

Genesis 1:26 Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and the cattle, and over all the wild animals and all the creatures that crawl on the ground.  Note:  “Man resembles god primarily b/c of the dominion given over creation.”  God reigns with love and mercy, shouldn’t we?

Genesis 1:29 God also said: “See, I give you every seed-bearing plant all over the earth and every tree that has seed-bearing fruit on it to be your food (Our originally intended diet)

Genesis 9:3 Every creature that is alive shall be yours to eat; I give them all to you as I did the green plants.

Genesis 2:15 The Lord God then took the man and settled him in the garden of Eden, to cultivate and care for it.

Genesis 2:19 So the Lord God formed out of the ground various wild animals and various birds of the air, and he brought them to the man to see what he would call them.

Genesis 3:17-19  To Adam he said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat of it,’ “Cursed is the ground because of you;  through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life. It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field.  By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return.”

Genesis 6:19-20 You are to bring into the ark two of all living creatures, male and female, to keep them alive with you.  Two of every kind of bird, of every kind of animal and of every kind of creature that moves along the ground will come to you to be kept alive.

Gen. 9:1-2 God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them:  “Be fertile and multiply and fill the earth.  Dread fear of you shall come upon all the animals of the earth and all the birds of the air, upon all the creatures that move about on the ground and all the fishes of the sea; into your power they are delivered.

Genesis 9:9-10 “See, I am now establishing my covenant with you and your descendants after you and with every living creature that was with you: all the birds, and the various tame and wild animals that were with you and came out of the ark.

Exodus 20:10  but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your animals, nor the alien within your gates.

Exodus 23:10-12 For six years you may sow your land and gather in its produce. But the seventh year you shall let the land lie untilled and unharvested, that the poor among you may eat of it and the beasts of the field may eat what the poor leave.  So also shall you do in regard to your vineyard and your olive grove.  For six days you may do your work, but on the seventh day you must rest, that your ox and your ass may also have rest.

Deuteronomy 11:13-15 “It shall come about, if you listen obediently to my commandments which I am commanding you today, to love the LORD your God and to serve Him with all your heart and all your soul, that He will give the rain for your land in its season, the early and late rain, that you may gather in your grain and your new wine and your oil. He will give grass in your fields for your cattle, and you will eat and be satisfied.”

Deuteronomy 22:4  You shall not see your countryman’s donkey or his ox fallen down on the way, and pay no attention to them; you shall certainly help him to raise them up

Deuteronomy 22:6-7 If you come across a bird’s nest in any tree or on the ground, with young ones or eggs and the mother sitting on the young or on the eggs, you shall not take the mother with the young. You shall let the mother go, but the young you may take for yourself, that it may go well with you, and that you may live long.

Deuteronomy 25:4  You shall not muzzle the ox while he is threshing.

1 Chronicles 16:31-34 Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let them say among the nations, “The Lord reigns!”  Let the sea resound, and all that is in it; let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them!  Then the trees of the forest will sing, they will sing for joy before the Lord, for he comes to judge the earth.  Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.

Nehemiah 9:6 You alone are the LORD. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you.

Job 12:7-10 But now ask the beasts to teach you, and the birds of the air to tell you; or the reptiles on the earth to instruct you, and the fish of the sea to inform you.  Which of these does not know that the hand of God has done this?  In his hand is the soul of every living thing, and the life breath of all mankind.

Psalm 8:1-4 When I see your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and stars that you set in place- What are humans that you are mindful of them, mere mortals that you care for them?  Yet you have made them little less than a god, crowned them with glory and honor.  You have given them rule over the works of your hands, put all things at their feet: All sheep and oxen, even the beasts of the field, The birds of the air, the fish of the sea, and whatever swims the paths of the seas.  O Lord, our Lord, how awesome is your name through all the earth!

Psalm 19:1-5 The heavens declare the glory of God; the sky proclaims its builder’s craft.  One day to the next conveys that message; one night to the next imparts that knowledge.  There is no word or sound; no voice is heard; Yet their report goes forth through all the earth, their message, to the ends of the world.

Psalm 24:1 The earth is the Lord’s and all it hold, the world and those who live there.

Psalm 50:10-11 For every animal of the forest is mine, beasts by the thousands on my mountains.  I know every bird of the heavens; the creatures of the field belong to me.

Psalm 66:4  Everything on earth will worship you; they will sing your praises, shouting your name in glorious songs.

Psalm 95:4-6 In his hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land. Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker

Psalm 104:10-13 He sends the springs into the valleys; They flow among the hills.  They give drink to every beast of the field; The wild donkeys quench their thirst.  By them the birds of the heavens have their home; They sing among the branches.  He waters the hills from His upper chambers.

Psalm 104:14-18 You raise grass for the cattle and plants for our beasts of burden.  You bring bread from the earth and wine to gladden our hearts, oil to make our faces gleam, food to build our strength.  The trees of the Lord drink their fill, the cedars of Lebanon, which you planted.  There the birds build their nests; junipers are the home of the stork.  The high mountains are for wild goats; the rocky cliffs, a refuge for badgers.

Psalm 104:24-25, 27-28, 31 How varied are your works, Lord!  In wisdom you have wrought them all; the earth is full of your creatures.  Look at the sea, great and wide!  It teems with countless beings, living things both large and small.  All of these look to you to give them food in due time.  When you give to them, they gather; when you open your hand, they are well filled.  May the glory of the Lord endure forever; may the Lord be glad in these works!

Psalm 111:2 Great are the works of the Lord, to be treasured for all their delights.

Psalm 145:9 The Lord is good to all, compassionate to every creature.

Psalm 148:4-13 Praise the Lord from the earth, you great sea creatures and all ocean depths, lightning and hail, snow and clouds, stormy winds that do his bidding, you mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars, wild animals and all cattle, small creatures and flying birds, kings of the earth and all nations, you princes and all rulers on earth, young men and maidens, old men and children. Let them praise the name of the Lord, for his name alone is exalted; his splendor is above the earth and the heavens.

Psalm 150:6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!

Proverbs 6:6-9  Go to the ant, O sluggard, observe her ways and be wise, which, having no chief, officer or ruler, prepares her food in the summer and gathers her provision in the harvest.  How long will you lie down, O sluggard?  When will you arise from your sleep?

Proverbs 12:10 The just man is kind to his beast, but the heart of the wicked is merciless.

Proverbs 22:22-23 Do not exploit the poor because they are poor
and do not crush the needy in court, for the LORD will take up their case
and will plunder those who plunder them.

Proverbs 30: 24-31 Four things on earth are small, yet they are extremely wise: Ants are creatures of little strength, yet they store up their food in the summer; rock badgers are creatures of little power, yet they make their home in the crags; locusts have no king, yet they advance together in ranks; a lizard can be caught with the hand, yet it is found in kings’ palaces. There are three things that are stately in their stride, four that move with stately bearing: a lion, mighty among beasts, who retreats before nothing; a strutting rooster, a he-goat, and a king with his army around him.

Isaiah 5:8 Woe to you who join house to house, who connect field with field, till no room remains, and you are left to dwell alone in the midst of the land.

Isaiah 11:6  Then the wolf shall be a guest of the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with kid; The calf and the young lion shall browse together, with a little child to lead them.

Isaiah 24:4-6 The earth mourns and withers, the world fades and withers, the exalted of the people of the earth fade away. The earth is also polluted by its inhabitants, for they transgressed laws, violated statutes, broke the everlasting covenant. Therefore, a curse devours the earth, and those who live in it are held guilty Therefore, the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men are left.

Isaiah 43:20-21 The wild animals of the desert honor me, the jackals and ostriches,

because I put water in the desert and streams in the wilderness, to quench the thirst of my chosen people the people whom I formed for myself, so they might praise me.

Jeremiah 12:4 How long must the earth mourn, the green of the whole countryside wither?  For the wickedness of those who dwell in it. Beasts and birds disappear, because they say, “God does not see our ways.”

Isaiah 55:12 You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.

Jeremiah 2:7 I brought you into a fertile land to eat its fruit and rich produce. But you came and defiled my land and made my inheritance detestable.

Ezekiel 34:2-4 Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD to the shepherds: “Woe to the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the flocks? You eat the fat and clothe yourselves with the wool; you slaughter the fatlings, but you do not feed the flock. The weak you have not strengthened, nor have you healed those who were sick, nor bound up the broken, nor brought back what was driven away, nor sought what was lost; but with force and cruelty you have ruled them.

Ezekiel 34:18 Was it not enough for your to graze on the best pasture, that you had to trample the rest of your pastures with you feet?  Was it not enough for you to drink the clearest water, that you had to foul the remainder with your feet?

Hosea 2:20 I will make a covenant for them on that day, with the beast of the field, with the birds of the air, and with the things that crawl on the ground.  Bow and sword and war I will destroy from the land, and I will let them take their rest in security.

Hosea 4:3  Because of this the land mourns, and all who live in it waste away; the beasts of the field and the birds of the air and the fish of the sea are dying.

Jonah 4:11 And should I not be concerned over Nineveh, the great city, in which there are more than a hundred and twenty thousand persons who cannot distinguish their right hand from their left, not to mention the many cattle?

Habakkuk 2:17 For the violence done to Lebanon shall cover you, and the destruction of the beasts shall terrify you.  Note: Conquerors had destroyed the cedar forests to build lavish buildings and excessively hunted animals for sport.

Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.

Matthew 6:10 Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Matthew 6:26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

Matthew 10:29  Are not two sparrows sold for a small coin?  Yet not one of them falls to the ground without your Father’s knowledge.

Mark 16:15 He said to them, “Go in to the whole world and proclaim the Gospel to every creature.”

Romans 1:20 Ever since the creation of the world, his invisible attributes of eternal power and divinity have been able to be understood and perceived in what he has made.

Romans 8:21-22 that creation itself would be set free from slavery to corruption and share in the glorious freedom of the children of God.  We know that all creation is groaning in labor pains even until now

Colossians 1:16-17,20  For in him were created all things in heaven and on earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers; all things were created through him and for him… …and through him to reconcile all things for him, making peace by the blood of his cross, whether those on earth or those in heaven.

Revelation 4:11 Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.

Revelation 5:13 Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, singing:  “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!”

Revelation 11:18 The nations raged, but your wrath has come… …and to destroy those who destroy the earth.
